A Bit of History
As the son of a contractor, I have been working in the construction trades all of my life and have experience in many aspects of home building and remodeling. My father built homes in the Minneapolis and St. Paul metro area for three decades. Except for a few years at the University of Minnesota (seeing what else is out there), construction has been my life.
In the 1970s, I worked with my father on new home construction and remodels. In 1980, my fathers company expanded it's focus to included commercial steel stud framing and sheetrocking - both interior and exterior. I gained many years of valuable experience in wood and steel stud framing layout, installation, sheetrock installation, acoustical ceilings, hardware installation, and demolition.
In the late 1980s, I began to do taping and finishing work for my father's company as well as expanding my work to include other contractors and homeowners. Since then, every aspect of the drywall business has been my focus.
The most valuable thing I've learned from my experience is that quality speaks for itself. I've built my business on this principle.
